Instructions for Signing Up for a MISGA Mixer
Individual members sign up via paper & pencil in appropriate MISGA event folder in Golf Pro Shop. Only request info as to Name / Rep / AR / Female
How handicap strokes are calculated for MISGA double best ball events.
USGA rules for double best ball events. Handicap indices converted to course handicaps based on default White tees for men and Green tees for women. Course handicaps adjusted for differences in course ratings for each tee & 90/95% adjustments applied as appropriate.

PGA & USGA "Tee It Forward" Initiative Information
MISGA players denote play @ tees other than default tees at time of play by indicating on scorecard which tees they choose – Black/Blue/White/Gold/Green. Strokes added &/or deleted at end of play by scorers. FHCC has an “85 rule” for players whose age is at least 70 & handicap = 85 or higher. No requirement to indicate at sign up time. Visiting clubs notified via play date/s original pre-season confirmation letter.
