Instructions for Signing Up for a MISGA Mixer
We use a form created by Mike Sobus which lists the names of all of the current MISGA members. They are instructed to initial by their name if the are interested in playing in the MISGA for a particular date. There is a separate form for Home and Away MISGA’s.
How handicap strokes are calculated for MISGA double best ball events.
Members are to post their score after each round. These postings are monitored by the Pro Shop
and omissions are brought to the attention of the member.
We use the USGA rules for double best ball events. First handicap indexes are converted to
course handicaps based on the tee boxes being used. Then the course handicaps are adjusted
for the differences in the course ratings for each tee and then the 90/95% adjustment is
applied as appropriate.
